Elevator Malfunction

Elevator alarm may sound, elevator will stop moving

Press the emergency button - one located in every elevator

Follow the dispatchers instruction, do not hang up unless told to do so

Natural Gas: Failure or Leak

Open windows to ventilate

Power / Electrical

Equipment and lights not on. If emergency generators are working, lights and equipment on them will come on within 10 seconds. If generators fail, no lights or equipment will work.

 Emergency lighting should come on, evacuate if necessary. Prepare by storing flashlights in your work area for worst case scenario.

Sewer Stoppage

Drains backing up.

Steam Failure

No building heat or hot water. Sterilizers are inoperative and there is limited cooking.
