Annual Compliance Training

New learning management system for compliance training - TLC the Learning Connection

All university compliance training has now been moved to our new compliance training system, The Learning Connection (TLC), which  KUMC will use for the 2015 compliance window October 1-27. The annual compliance window is composed of:

1. Annual compliance training  found in TLC for all faculty, staff and students in core areas and

2. Annual certification of conflicts of interest in a different system, accessed via an email sent from

There may be additional training depending on your role.

New residents, students and employees are already being directed to TLC for their compliance training. Everyone else will have accounts ready for the annual window. The University of Kansas Hospital has already transitioned to TLC, so compliance training will be accessed in one system.  Dual-appinted will complete training to meet requirements for each appointment.

At this time, users don't have any training assigned in TLC, and will see nothing to complete.

After notification that the FY 16 Compliance Window has begun, TLC can be accessed one of two ways:

  2. Go to myKUMC and go to the "Training" tab. From there, click on the link to TLC.

 Just as with Chalk, after your account has been activated by TLT, you will log in to TLC using your KU Medical Center network username and password. If you have any questions concerning your network username and password, please contact customer support at 913-588-7995.

After June 19, anyone who tries to access Chalk will be taken to a page that details how to access TLC. More information on the university's 2015 compliance window will be provided closer to September.
