Protocol Development and Forms

Animal Use Application (Protocol)

You will need an animal use application BEFORE animals can be ordered or used. The protocol form can be found below.  All submissions should be emailed to IACUC@kumc.edu

  • You can look at the submission dates and deadlines for review by the animal Committee by checking the "Meeting Dates and Deadlines" tab on the left.
  • If you would like to have your protocol pre-reviewed, please contact the Office of Animal Welfare for a pre-review. Flowcharts and timelines of the review process can be found below.
  • If you are being added to an existing protocol, your principal investigator can submit an amendment form to have you added.
