Composition
The committee will have representation from the following areas
- University of Kansas School of Medicine, Kansas City Campus;
- University of Kansas School of Nursing;
- University of Kansas School of Allied Health;
- University of Kansas School of Pharmacy, specifically clinical pharmacology;
- Bioethics;
- Clinical research;
- Statistics;
- Community surrounding the University of Kansas Medical Center; and
- Patient Advocate.
If an uncommon, unusual or discipline-specific knowledge is required for the DSM-EC, the Associate Vice Chancellor for Compliance, in consultation with the DSM-EC chair and the committee administration, shall identify and seat appropriate consultants who shall serve in non-voting, advisory capacities on an as-needed basis.
