Annual Compliance Window FY 16
It's time to complete your compliance training for FY2016. This year's training window begins today and ends Oct. 27. If you are part of the group that completed training after receiving the email on Sept. 18, you will receive credit for your completed modules.
This annual compliance training provides a general overview of important compliance topics and also fulfills certain state and federal regulatory requirements. You must complete all the required training by midnight on Oct. 27 to avoid loss of computer access.
As a reminder, university compliance training has been moved from Chalk to our new compliance training system, The Learning Connection (TLC). Training consists of four to five modules, which will only take a couple hours to complete. You will be able to save and go back where you left off as often as necessary and even complete the modules from home.
Log into TLC to complete compliance training: https://tlc.netdimensions.com using your network login to get started. You will see a list of your required training modules. After you successfully complete the quiz for a module, that training will no longer show on your list.
If you prefer, you can access TLC through myKUMC, "Training" tab, and click on the link to TLC.
If you are dually employed by both UKP and KU Medical Center or by KU hospital and KU Medical Center, you will still need to complete KU Medical Center training to meet your annual university training obligations.
Thank you for doing your training. If you have questions about compliance training, please contact Pat Dean-Love.
Associate Vice Chancellor for Compliance
NOTE: For personnel engaged in human subjects research, the university's compliance window is also the time to complete CITI training in human subjects research if your training is due this fiscal year. For more information, visit the HRPP Training website.
