KUMC AMBASSADORS

Although the intent of the 8 in ’08 campaign is to volunteer with an outside agency or project in the community, there are times when help is needed for specific events within the confines of the medical center. These events are as follows:

ALUMNI REUNION
The KUMC Alumni reunion takes place annually in the fall and it is a great time for alumni to celebrate, reunite and reminisce. This two day event would not be successful without the commitment of our volunteers. You can participate in a variety of ways, including helping with campus tours, registration, stuffing packets, shuttle driver, greeter, and so much more. For more information, contact the alumni office at 588-5255 or email mbooth@kumc.edu.mbooth@kumc.edu

CAMPUS TOURS
The Office of External Affairs offers a variety of tours for students who are interested in health or science related careers. During their tour day they will hear from a representative from the School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and School of Allied Health about opportunities each school has to offer. The students can also visit a variety of departments, such as the Nursing Skills Lab, Pathology Lab, School of Medicine Skills Lab, Clendening History of Medicine Library, Hoglund Brain Imaging Center and more! GRADUATION BRUNCH

M1 COMMUNITY SERVICE DAY
M1 Community Service Day takes place during orientation week for first year medical students. Not only does this day of service benefit the KUMC community, it is a great way for the new students to get to know one another through team work.
