Six Kansas high schools compete in Night@ The Lab

Frontenac High School students Kambri Brynds and Aubrey Vena (pictured above), won the statewide Night@ The Lab competition Nov. 19, 2013 – a new KU Area Health Education Center (AHEC) program. Students researched medical topics, created visual displays and presented the material before visitors and judges. Brynds and Vena presented research on the pacemaker.

The state was divided into six regions for the competition. Other regional winners advancing to the state finals: Quinter High School, Garden City High School, Concordia High School, Rose Hill High School and Immaculata High School in Leavenworth.
