Rural Kansas Photography Contest

Dr. Munson and Nurse Angela with Pediatric PatientCongratulations to the winners of the 2017 Rural Kansas Photo Contest! Thank you to the hundreds of amateur and professional photographers that have submitted their photos and shared their love for Kansas with us.

Over the past 12 years, Kansans have submitted more than 2,500 images to the Rural Kansas Photo Contest. These photos have introduced us to the far corners of our state, transported us to enormous landmarks, introduced us to new friends and neighbors, and helped us rediscover the beauty in our own backyard. Most importantly, these images help promote the rich history and beauty of Kansas to our future health care providers and patients.

Browse beautiful images captured across 7 categories by both amateur and professional photographers. Share the magic moments in your backyard, and sign up to vote for this year's best.

2017 photo contest winners were announced on November 29, 2017. Like us on Facebook to be the first to see our winners!

Julie Stewart, M.D.
Internist & Pediatrician, Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas

"In my 40-year career, I have known hundreds of physicians but none like Julie Stewart. She loves God and she loves His people. She understands that the mind, the heart and the body are one, and that true health is achieved by working in partnership with those she serves. This woman changes everything she touches, and she only looks forward to what else needs to be done."
