Life as a Doctor in Rural Kansas Luncheon

2016 Presentation 

Dr. Jennifer McKenney, a family physician practicing in Fredonia, Kansas was the guest speaker for Life as a Doctor in Rural Kansas on Wednesday, March 23. Students from Kansas City, Wichita and Salina had the opportunity to listen to McKenney speak about her life and experiences practicing medicine in rural Kansas.

2015 Presentation

Beth Loney, M.D. and Michael Oller, M.D., family physicians practicing in Stockton, Kansas were the guest speakers for for Life as a Doctor in Rural Kansas on Wednesday, March 25. Students from Kansas City, Wichita and Salina had the opportunity to listen to Loney and Oller speak about their experiences practicing medicine in rural Kansas.

2014 Presentation

Michael E. Machen, M.D., from Quinter, Kan. was the guest speaker for Life as a Doctor in Rural Kansas on Monday, March 24. Students from Kansas City, Wichita and Salina had the opportunity to listen to Machen speak about his experiences as a physician in a rural Kansas community.

2013 Presentation

Rural Health Education and Services sponsored the 2013 Life as a Doctor in Rural Kansas luncheon held on the University of Kansas Medical Center's campus on Monday, April 22, 2013. Attendees had the pleasure of listening to Robert P. Moser, JR., M.D., from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment speak about his experiences practicing medicine in rural Kansas.
