Where do I unload and park?

Unload in the half-circle drive of the Boathouse. After unloading, please move your vehicle to the free parking located slightly northeast across from the Boathouse. Free parking is also available in the Gander Mountain parking garage.

From 39th and Rainbow Blvd., go east on 39th for ½ block. Hixson Atrium is on the right hand side of the street when you are directly under the breezeway that goes over 39th. Stop your car in the bus loading zone, and turn on your hazard lights while unloading. Rural Health staff will be available to help you unload. After unloading, proceed ½ block. Turn right on Cambridge Street. Park in the Cambridge Parking garage on the left hand side. Bring your parking ticket to KCO and Rural Health staff can validate it for you.

Who is my audience?

Resident physicians, medical, nursing and allied health students, and other health care professionals have been invited to attend KCO. Please be prepared to talk with people in a variety of health care fields. We suggest having a representative attend who can talk with nurses and allied health, as well as someone to speak with resident physicians. In past years, attendance has ranged from 110-195 at each event.

What's included with our exhibit fee?

The exhibit fee is four hundred dollars ($400) if exhibiting at both events. The exhibit fee is three hundred fifty dollars ($350) if exhibiting at one event. Exhibit fee includes food and drink for 2 representatives, 3' x 6' space allotment, one six (6) foot table with tablecloth, exhibitor profile in event booklet, and event materials for two representatives. A fee of fifty dollars ($50) will be added for each additional representative. No more than four total representatives will be allowed.

What is the presentation in Wichita, and why do I have to set up so early?

A panel discussion will address what it is really like to practice in rural and underserved urban Kansas. Panelists will share their practice experience. The main audience for the presentation is medical students. The panel will take place from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Boathouse. Therefore, no exhibitors will be allowed to set up their displays during this time.  Exhibitors are invited to attend the presentation.
