Joy Williams serves as the Telemedicine Coordinator for the University of Kansas Center for Telemedicine & Telehealth (KUCTT). She is the first point of contact for the center and is responsible for the scheduling of clinical and educational events as well as patient consultations.
Ms. Williams maintains communication with the numerous telemedicine sites throughout Kansas, providers and support staff, and documents data for research support and funding. She has recently worked with KUMC providers to develop new Telemedicine clinics to support Pediatric Feeding and Elimination issues, Post-Concussion Follow Up, and Psycho-Oncology therapy through the Midwest Cancer Alliance. She also holds key coordination support roles in many departmental and inter-departmental grants, including REACH Pediatric Trauma Home-Based Telemedicine Counseling and Project ECHO Child Youth Epilepsy.
Ms. Williams holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Costume Design from the University of Kansas, and is an award winning fine art photographer. She has a strong administrative, customer and technical support background.
