Save the date for Sizzlin' Summer 2018: Health and Wellness

Save the date for the Sizzlin' Summer 2018: Health and Wellness symposium on July 26-27, 2018 at Whiskey Creek Wood Fire Grill in Hays, Kansas. The symposium will educate health care professionals on various health and wellness topics. The first day will focus on vaccination education; pain management, including alternative therapies to help with pain, such as chiropractic care and massage therapy; the benefits of group education for diabetes patients; nutrition education and the psychology behind eating; and how to recognize and treat eating disorders. Day two will focus more on orthopedics, including updates on concussion protocol, fighting chronic disease/disabilities with exercise, pelvic floor rehab/stress incontinence, recognizing and assessing diastasis recti, and PRP versus whole blood injections. The goal over the two days is to provide health care professionals with education on a variety of topics to better serve patients.
The target audience for this symposium are physicians, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapy assistants, and other allied health care professionals.
