Originally designed to meet the specific needs of the ABMS Member Boards, the ABMS Conference continues to extend its value to the greater health care community. In 2017, the Conference will incorporate the QI Forum with workshops geared to quality improvement-benefiting everyone with expanded opportunities for learning, collaboration and networking.

The ABMS Multi-Specialty Portfolio Program and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants have announced the establishment of an inter-professional collaborative arrangement whereby NCCPA-certified Physician Assistants can obtain performance improvement continuing medical education credit for participating with physicians in patient safety and PI activities aimed at improving the quality of care delivered to patients at their institutions.
