Thank you for your feedback

We appreciate all the feedback, positive and constructive, that we receive and encourage you to keep it coming. We received an anonymous comment that some headlines in KUMed Central, such as "Brag it Up" and "Stuff that might interest you," are too casual and unrepresentative of what we do in an academic medical center. KUMed Central is designed to communicate an assortment of information to our internal audiences in an easy-to-read, casual and fun way. The format of this newsletter was also created to help readers easily identify what's relevant to them. When we surveyed the campus, the most common frustration expressed campus wide was the amount of information people receive. Headlines like "Stuff that might interest you" and "Stuff you need to know" were intended to help package information so readers can identify what information is considered "must know" as opposed to "it would be nice to know."

KUMed Central is just one vehicle we use to share information with our campus. More sophisticated and "formal" pieces are available through the www.kumc.edu homepage stories, EVC newsletter, Medicine+Science publication, annual report, KU Today, strategic plan, and others.

If you have feedback, please let us know.
