In preparation for renovations, Murphy Courtyard will be closed for construction effective Friday, Aug. 1. Construction will occur in phases and include a three-day demolition process, which will occur on a weekend to minimize disruption to the campus. To ensure its care, the fountain dedicated to Logan Clendening, M.D., will be removed prior to demolition and preserved in storage.
Once the courtyard is closed, deliveries and vendors will use the Delp dock, and signs will be posted to direct them. Additionally, alternate ADA routes and exits will be clearly marked. The courtyard will be permanently closed to vehicles, and current parkers will receive an email with instructions about different parking. The courtyard is also off-limits to pedestrians until further notice, and we will notify you when it's safe to enter the courtyard again.
