Be a big loser: Are you addicted to The Biggest Loser? You can be a big loser too when you participate in KU Weight Management's programs. Find out more at an informational session on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 5:30 p.m., Kirmayer Fitness Center. Participants generally lose 10-15 percent of their initial body weight. Read more.

Discounts to Missouri Mavericks game: As part of The University of Kansas Hospital Night on Feb. 9, KU Medical Center employees can receive discounts on tickets and other deals for the Mavericks vs. Tulsa Oilers game. Read more.

CAMPUS CORNER!

This February, the School of Health Professions' Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences will gain national exposure when they host the Annual Clinical Laboratory Educator's Conference. One of only three accredited programs left in Kansas City, KUMC's Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) program graduates 50 percent of all the new medical laboratory scientists in the metro area. Read more about what takes place in this part of campus.
