Computer recycling program - Friday, March 6

The university will hold its next computer equipment drop-off on Friday, March 6, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. in Hixson Atrium (located on the ground floor between Lied and Wahl East). Do not bring computer equipment prior to 8:30 a.m. or after 10:30 a.m. as there will not be staff there to process your equipment and paperwork.

Please note: there is a form that must be completed and attached to each piece of computer equipment except peripheral items such as keyboards, mice, speakers, cords, etc.

To complete the form, employees should:

  1. Go to the MyKUMC portal.
  2. Select the tab marked "Computing."
  3. Select "Resources and Services" from the drop-down list.
  4. The link to the new form is at the bottom of the page and marked as "Equipment Disposal Form."

Note: UKP employees can find the link for the equipment disposal form on the main myKUMC portal page in the Computing channel at the top-right of the page (as shown below).
