What is a Change Bandit?

Each spring Mix 93.3 and Children's Miracle Network produce an event that impacts the health of thousands of Kansas City children at KU Medical Center and Children's Mercy Hospital and Clinics. Rocket and Teresa's 10th annual Mix 93.3, MIX FOR KIDS Radiothon is scheduled for March 5, 6, and 7, 2008. This is an amazing event that shares the courage, endurance, and hope of local families and children assisted by our Kansas City CMN hospitals, with over 400,000 listeners. The Radiothon raises much needed funds, ensuring that our hospitals will be available to meet the growing needs of future area families and children. Change Bandits kick off the radiothon and add to it's excitement and success.

Change Bandits are volunteers that sign up to "stick up" their co-workers, friends, and family for change to donate to Children's Miracle Network. Bandits receive a fun kit in the mail with a t-shirt, change bag, stickers, a "wanted" poster, a Miracle Child story, as well as ideas and instructions on how to get started. A Bandit's goal is to raise at least $100, but some raise up to $6000! Bandits turn in their "loot" and have a chance to celebrate their success by attending the Change Bandit Bash held on February 28th.

Our goal this year is to raise over $60,000 through the program and we cannot do this without your help!
