Costs and Financial Aid: KU CLS Program
The cost of an education is affordable at the University of Kansas. Tuition, fees and other cost information can be found here, including financial aid and scholarship resources.
COST OF CLS EDUCATION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF KANSAS*
Tuition and Fees vary depending on degree program, level of course and other factors. If you start your academic career at KU as a freshman, you can estimate your tuition costs at the Lawrence campus tuition site. Your tuition will remain constant as you continue your education at the KU Medical Center campus for your junior and senior years. However, students at KUMC have fees for these 2 years which differ considerably from Lawrence campus students, and they can be found here.
If you begin your education at an institution outside KU and transfer to the KU CLS program, your tuition follows the KU Medical Center tuition structure (your fees are the same as KU students once you arrive to KU Medical Center).
Other fees include:
Tuition and Fee Deposit $100
Lab course $165
Molecular Diagnostics Track lab fee: $300
Incidental Fees: $200 per semester
Student Health Insurance: $850 (required if not covered by other health insurance plan)
Books: $800 – $1200
