Preceptors and Practice Sites
Interprofessional Learning IN Practice integrates the student's interprofessional education with practice experience in clinics, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and other practice settings.
The combined skills, knowledge, and experience of the whole team is stronger than each of its individual parts working alone. Interprofessional care teams exist where providers from different health professions disciplines work to coordinate care to address a specific patient problem. Interprofessional teams share a collective identity and collaborate through team communication, decision-making and teamwork in their care of patients.
