CAB IV Lunch Picture of Faculty and Staff

Collaborating Across the Borders IV June 2013

KUMC was well represented at the Collaborating Across the Borders International Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Conference in Vancouver, Canada. Fifteen faculty and staff attended and presented eleven oral papers sessions, break-out sessions and posters on our IPE efforts here at Kansas University. The teams presented on everything from teaching critical communication skills in IPE settings, the Family Practice clinics Interprofessional teaching clinic and Studio Pop, integrating non-clinical students in a clinical setting, Virtual Home assessments with OT/PT students, faculty development, instructional design, Geriatric Champions, and much, much more. KUMC's place as a leader in IPECP has been furthered by the dedication of our attending faculty and university sponsorship.
