Norbert received his B.S. in Health Information Management from St. Louis University, a Master’s degree in Health Services Administration (MHSA) from the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC) and is certified as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).  As Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Information Management at KUMC, Norbert instructs the Legal Aspects of Health Care, Reimbursements, Health Care Delivery Systems and Topics in Health Information courses.  Prior to his faculty appointment at KUMC, he worked in several capacities for the Kansas University Center for Telemedicine & Telehealth (KUCTT).  For a majority of his six years with KUCTT, as the Project Manager/Director, Norbert worked with potential, new and existing sites to develop and expand telemedicine projects.  Specifically, he consulted with sites for such things as; business development, strategic planning, technology, equipment, policy, procedure, reimbursement, etc.  Norbert also currently works as a LEND Training Supervisor instructing interdisciplinary students on the administration side of health care.
