Ms.Lavenbarg received her MSN (1993) and post-Masters Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certification from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 1999. She is Board Certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Her undergraduate work was completed (1983) at The University of Texas in Arlington with a post-graduate rehabilitation emphasis (until 1985). She has over 23 years of experience working in the USA and abroad in medical, community and home settings with children and families impacted by chronic illness and developmental disabilities. She is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. She is currently coordinating the Children with Special Health Care Needs Clinics (Seating, Cerebral Palsy and Urology) at the CCHD and provides coverage for outreach clinics as needed.
