What We Do

The long-term goal of the Center for American Indian Community Health (CAICH) is to reduce health disparities among American Indians through quality community-based participatory research. Additionally, CAICH aims to enhance opportunities for American Indian students to enter the health professions and health research careers through pipeline programs from high school through college and into graduate and medical school. In order to achieve our goals, CAICH is involved in various research projects, educational initiatives and service projects. All of what we do is aimed at improving the health of American Indian people and communities.  To learn more about our activities, see:
