  • James Calvet, Ph.D., received the Chancellor's Award for Outstanding Classroom Teaching during the 135th annual commencement ceremonies at the University of Kansas May 20, 2007.
  • Jacob Hodges is the recipient of the 2007 Grisolia Research Fellowship for Biomedical Research by a Medical Student at the recent Student Research Forum.
  • Matt Goering is the recipient of the 2007 Joe R. Kimmel Award for outstanding research presentation in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Student Research Forum.
  • Harvey Fisher, Ph.D., was recognized by the Division of the History of Chemistry, American Chemical Society with a Citation for Chemical Breakthroughs.

  • Ben Weaver, Graduate Student in Biochemistry, was awarded the 2006 Joe R. Kimmel Award for outstanding research presentation in biochemistry at the recent Student Research Forum.
