Welcome to the official website of the KUMC Auxiliary. Our mission is to provide voluntary services and financial assistance to the University of Kansas Medical Center, the University of Kansas Hospital, the University of Kansas Medical Center Student Union and for the benefit of patients, students, employees and staff at the University of Kansas Medical Center and the University of Kansas Hospital. We have provided thousands of volunteer hours and have contributed $1.5 million to the KU campus since our inception in 1948.

A Message from the President

Dear Auxiliary Members,

It is an honor to have the opportunity to serve as President of the University of Kansas Medical Center Auxiliary for the year 2009-2010. This year, with our economy struggling, we face many new challenges in serving the needs of our medical center community. Our focus needs to be on retaining and building our membership, both in numbers and participation, and providing an opportunity for all members of our community to become more involved in service to our patients’ needs.

We hope to engage many new members this year by increasing awareness of the purpose of our organization, and getting the message out to everyone that membership is open to anyone interested within our community.

We welcome the support of everyone in this endeavor, and look forward to making this an outstanding year for service to the University of Kansas Medical Center Auxiliary.
