The KU Alzheimer's Disease Center and the Landon Center on Aging administer a competitive grant program to support innovative pilot studies relevant to Alzheimer's disease and brain aging. Up to three awards of $30,000 are funded annually.
Proposals designed to generate preliminary data or publications that help the investigator successfully compete for extramural grants are encouraged. Early-stage investigators and those not currently performing AD research will be given special consideration, but established AD investigators are also eligible. Any faculty with a KUMC affiliation is eligible to apply. Postdoctoral fellows with eligible faculty mentors may also apply.
The official Request for Applications and application instructions are released annually in the Fall.
For details, potential applicants should contact Eric Vidoni at 913-588-5312 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
