Healthy Aging Symposium

Americans are living longer, and the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease increases with age. Age-related cognitive changes occur naturally as well, so strategies to improve and maintain brain health are critically important.
To provide information to the community on the latest recommendations for lifestyle factors and other means to improve and maintain brain health as we age, the KU Alzheimer's Disease Center partners with Johnson County Community College Health and Human Services to host an annual Healthy Aging Symposium at Johnson County Community College.
Continuing education credit is available for registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, social workers, counselors, registered dietitians, physicians, adult care home administrators, physical therapists, and occupational therapists.
