KU Alzheimer's Disease Center Caregiver Support Group

The KU Alzheimer's Disease Center (KU ADC), in conjunction with the Heart of America Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, sponsors a monthly caregiver support group. All caregivers are welcome. No need to register.

Who can attend the support group?

Anyone who is dealing with a family member who has Alzheimer's disease or memory problems and needs the support of other caregivers and experts in caregiving. 

Why should I attend?

Dealing with a person who has Alzheimer's disease or memory problems can be overwhelming and challenging for a caregiver. The KU ADC support group provides information on caring for a loved one. The support group also addresses and promotes self-care and health of the caregiver as well as offer support from other caregivers.

If you are unable to attend the KU Alzheimer's Disease Center monthly support group, you may search for other caregiver support groups sponsored by the Heart of America Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
