Alumni Spotlight:
Alan Reeves, MD'97

Super glue can save lives! Just ask The University of Kansas Hospital doctors Koji Ebersole, MD, and Alan Reeves, MD'97, who teamed up to save an infant's life by inserting sterile super glue to stop a brain bleed.  First, Dr. Reeves gained access to the baby's tiny blood vessels near her hip. Once inside, Dr. Ebersole maneuvered a drop of sterile super glue to her brain. This is believed to be the first time super glue has been used to repair an aneurysm in a neonate. Watch the video.
