    1936 - Muriel Williamson Wood – Clinical Labs

    Ms. Wood passed away October 01, 2008.

1950’s

    1958 CLS - Erma (Lee) Manney Nelson

    Lee continues to assist the University of Texas at El Paso’s Movin’ Miners travel program. She started this program in 2000 and organizes group travel through Sun Travel in El Paso, Texas.

    1959 - Major Martha Friedmeyer, USAF

    Major Friedmeyer is presently doing a lot of volunteering, such as exercise classes for the elderly and gardening at two retirement centers and a neighborhood park. Sewing, church, and pet care also keep her busy.

1960’s

    1965 – Rosemary Tamborello Danaher – Physical Therapy

    Ms. Danaher continues to enjoy her new home in Illinois – being close to granddaughters. Also enjoys Traveling. Doing well with second knee replacement.

1970’s

    1972 - Arnelle (Hilgenfeld) McNary

    Ms. McNary as the KSD Outreach Resource Team Leader at the Kansas School for the Deaf, coordinates and participates (as SLP Consultant) in conducting evaluations, consultations and in-services for students who are deaf/hard of hearing, their parents and school staff, through a multi-disciplinary team approach. She was recently selected as "Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers."

    1977 - Sharon Donovan Coffman

    Mrs. Coffman works part time in the Kansas City area and has an education company for CEU’s: www.reheart.net. Her specialty area is Cardiovascular and Pulmonary PT.

    1978 – Deborah Barnett Daniels - Masters – Hearing and Speech

    Ms. Daniels passed away on September 30, 2008.

    1978 – Stephen Walker – Nurse Anesthesia

    Stephen Walker passed away on September 4, 2008.

1980’s

    1981 - Linda Solomon

    Mrs. Solomon was awarded tenure and advancement as Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Rockhurst University.

    1981 – Col. William Howard – Occupational Therapy

    Colonel Howard is Chief, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Tripler U.S. Army Medical Center, Honolulu, Hawaii. His daughter, Lauren, has graduated in December, 2008, from the University of Kansas with her BFA degree.

1990’s

    1992 – Kristin Boze Smith - OT

    Kristin has joined the School District 158 in Huntley, Illinois. She will be on staff there as an Occupational Therapist.

    1994 – Donna Nyght – Nurse Anesthesia

    Ms. Nyght has been named Chair of KU Department of Nurse Anesthesiaa.

    1998 – Nicole Peters Anderson

    Nicole is an OT/AT specialist in the Blue Valley School District, Overland Park, Kansas.

2000’s

    2000 – Charity Scott Clark

    Charity is the manager of the Respiratory Therapy department at Via-Christi Regional Medical Center, Wichita.

    2002 - John A. Ferraro, PhD

    Dr. Ferraro was recently recognized by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association for his contribution to the field of speech, language and hearing. He received the Honors of the Association which is given to individuals who are well know throughout the nation and the world for a lifetime of innovative clinical practice, insightful and rigorous research and outstanding teaching.

    2003 - Jeremy Armstrong

    Mr. Armstrong moved from South Dakota in March of 2006 to take a CEO position at St. Luke Hospital and Living Center.

    2006 - Lisa Mische Lawson

    Lisa is an assistant professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy, KU School of Allied Health.
