by Conor Grennan
Description: In search of adventure, 29-year-old Conor Grennan traded his day job for a year-long trip around the globe. He starts by volunteering at Little Princes Children's Home, an orphanage in war-torn Nepal. Conor was initially reluctant to volunteer, unsure whether he had the skill and passion to get involved in a developing country in the middle of a civil war. But he was soon overcome by the herd of rambunctious, resilient children who would challenge and reward him in a way that he had never imagined.

"I loved this book because it is a true story about a normal person who did something extraordinary. Conor started volunteering in Nepal because he wanted his year-long trip to seem less selfish and it was a great pick up line to say you're helping orphans. It was interesting to see how a quick stop could change the whole direction of your life. And the children in the book are so lovable that you'll get drawn in just like he did."
