2000s

2002 – Bobby Olm-Shipman, MHSA
Saint Luke's Health System named a new leader for its Overland Park hospital, bringing up one of the system's own executives.  Bobby Olm-Shipman, the system's vice president of planning and project management, heads over to Saint Luke's South Hospital as CEO starting Sept. 8.  Personally and professionally, it made sense to Olm-Shipman to put his name in the running as the hospital's CEO.  "This is the right next step in my career, I believe," he said. "I've done a lot of things that successful CEOs do in pieces and parts and it's really time to put it all together." Olm-Shipman has been with Saint Luke's in some capacity for almost 13 years, including jobs working directly with physicians, looking at quality management and overseeing operations and projects. But personally, he loves the Saint Luke's South, which is three miles from his home. He even runs past it on his morning jog. The Overland Park hospital is where four of Olm-Shipman's five kids were born, where he has had medical help and where all of his friends and family go. Olm-Shipman replaces Jani Johnson who left the job in July to accept the CEO spot at the health system's flagship hospital near the Country Club Plaza. Johnson replaced Julie Quirin, who left her CEO spot this summer to become senior vice president of hospital operations for the health system. "Bobby has a strong record of exceptional leadership within the health system," Quirin said in a release. "He possesses a wealth of experience in strategic planning and organizational efficiency. His successful management of Vision 2020 is a testament not only to his skills as a leader but also as a collaborator."

2005 – Sherrie K. Graham
Sherrie is the Executive Director for Business Development and Operations at Nueterra in Leawood, KS.

2007 - Nicholas “Nico” Tejeda, MHSA

Tejeda has been named the Chief Executive Officer of Sierra Providence East Medical Center effective July 13. He brings a proven track record and a great deal of enthusiasm to his new post. He was previously the CEO of Doctors Hospital of Manteca. Read more.
