Become A Mascot
Baby Jay, the University of Kansas Medical Center’s, mascot helps create excitement and promotes the Medical Center at a variety of University events. Baby Jay is expected to work alone to get the crowd involved and to interact closely with guests at these events. The mascot plays an important role in promoting KUMC and building strong community relations. Mascot positions are available on an annual basis. Applicants should be:
- in good physical condition
- between 4’11" and 5’1"
- dedicated
- responsible
- creative
If you meet these criteria, and have a great love for the University of Kansas Medical Center, then you are encouraged to apply.
Appearances will be for a variety of University events. Mascots will also be required to attend two training sessions.
