FROM THE EXECUTIVE VICE CHANCELLOR
2010 Alumni Reunion Weekend
Now that it’s August, students are headed back to school again on the KUMC campus. Representatives from your class, as well as KUMC faculty and staff, have been planning a program full of opportunities for you to connect, learn and reflect upon your experiences at KUMC. Alumni Reunion Weekend is a great place to reminisce and recollect with fellow alumni about your favorite school memories. Join us for the festivities on October 8-9, 2010. Several of your favorite events are back for this year’s reunion weekend, including the 64th Annual Bohan Lunch and Learn. This year’s program, Federal Healthcare Reform: What Does it Mean to Me?, will feature our Vice Chancellor for Public Policy and Planning, Marcia Nielsen, PhD, MPH. There are also campus tours, lectures, and specific events just for your class. The weekend will conclude with the KU Medical Center Alumni and Community Awards Gala. During the evening, nine distinguished alumni will be honored for their achievement and dedication in the medical, nursing or allied health fields. We will also feature two exceptional community members who have made innumerable contributions both to the University and the surrounding region. I hope you plan to join us for this year’s Alumni Reunion Weekend. I look forward to seeing you back on campus!
