Office of Alumni & Community Relations

The Office of Alumni & Community Relations works with the Alumni Association to offer programs for alumni and to support the goals of the university and the association. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Mission Statement of the Office of Alumni & Community Relations

The mission of the University of Kansas Office of Alumni & Community Relations is to create, foster and enhance relationships among KU Medical Center alumni, students and friends by promoting awareness and support for activities that enhance education, research and service - both at the university and across the great state of Kansas.

Privacy Statement

The KUMC Alumni Association web site and social media sites are designed to facilitate communication among alumni for personal or University-related purposes.

The University and Alumni Association have not, do not and will never sell alumni information to anyone. All alumni information is strictly guarded for use by individual alumni and the Alumni Association for personal and University-related purposes only.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

The KUMC Alumni Association reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable.

If the KUMC Alumni Association cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund.

Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.

Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for your registration is the RSVP date for that event. Registration cancellations received prior to the deadline may be eligible to receive a refund. Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.

Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event. Cancellations will be accepted via phone, fax or e-mail, and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline.

These above policies apply to all KUMC Alumni events unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials. Please read all individual event information thoroughly.
