Application Information for Students

Applications to the KU School of Health Professions are customized to each field of study. As part of the application process, you will apply to the School and your specific program simutaneously. Some programs utilize a Central Application System in which students first apply online to the CAS before submitting a second application to KU to complete the process. Others simply apply online directly to KU.

Steps for applying to the KU School of Health Professions

  1. Learn about the specific requirements for your desired program of study.
  2. Contact the program directly to review requirements, answer questions and evaluate coursework prior to submitting an application.
  3. Submit all application requirements as directed by your desired program of study. Official copies of all transcripts and test results should be sent to KU Medical Center at the address provided on the application instructions page.

For questions concerning the KU School of Health Professions programs and application process, please refer to our Frequently Asked Questions.

Note: Students are strongly encouraged to complete the FAFSA and KU Medical Center financial aid documents by the March 1 KUMC priority deadline even if the admission application deadline for your intended program is after this date. If you apply for financial aid after the March 1 priority deadline, any remaining financial aid will be awarded as available.

Current KU students must re-apply for financial aid at the medical center. Your total financial aid award package, including institutional scholarships, loans, or need-based aid, will not be finalized until your admission application materials and fee have been received and you have been accepted.
