To qualify for graduation all degree-completion program students must achieve a C or better on all course work. A minimum 124 hours of college credit are required to earn a Bachelor of Science degree. All students are required to hold a current American Heart Association ACLS provider card (from employer) to graduate from the program.
Progression through the program is easier if the student remains enrolled.
Any missed fall or spring semester will require the student undergo
a
reactivation process to regain student status. Any student who is
not enrolled continuously throughout their program for each fall and spring
semester is discontinued as of the 20th day of that semester in which
they do not enroll. Once a student is discontinued, the student must complete
and sign a form to be 'reactivated' and return it to the KUMC Office of the Registrar.
The course schedule follows a typical semester and is designed to be delivered at an organized and manageable pace. Tests are
scheduled during selected weeks in the course and may be taken at the convenience of the student during that week. The schedule will become available when the courses are activated on the first day of the semester.
