The University of Kansas Respiratory Care program offers a degree-completion program for the respiratory therapist who wants to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree. This program is perfect for students unable to be physcially present on campus or those with schedule constraints which make traditional college class schedules impossible. KU's respiratory care courses are Web-based in this program and never require students to leave their home or office and offer added flexibility: if you're traveling or not feeling well, the courses are always available, anytime from any computer on the Internet.

Students in this program usually enter as college seniors and all are considered Kansas residents for the purpose of tuition. Because the course load is flexible, costs for each student in the program vary. Estimated costs of attendance include the following:
  • $218.90 per credit hour – undergraduate tuition rate (2009-2010)
  • $50 per credit hour – e-learning fee for online courses taken
  • Off-campus students are not required to pay campus student fees,
except for the student records maintenance fee.
Cost information is provided on this page only as a general guide to assist prospetive students. Tuition and fees are established by the Kansas Board of Regents and the University of Kansas and may change at any time without notice.
