KU Doctor of Physical Therapy Program Costs (by semester)

First Year: $15,666.16 (residents); $31,346.11 (non-residents)
Second Year: $10,512.22 (residents); $20,965.52 (non-residents)
Third Year: $12,161.11 (residents); $24,222.61 (non-residents)
Program Total: $38,339.49 (residents); $76,534.24 (non-residents)
A $400 non-refundable tuition fee deposit is required to reserve a spot in the DPT class.

Background Checks
Beginning Jan 1, 2004, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) initiated a requirement for all incoming students to pay for a
background check. This one-time fee must be paid directly to the company performing the background investigation. You will be asked to provide information and make the payment once you have been officially accepted into the DPT program. For more information, please see the
