This Evidence-Based Practices Institute taught by M'Lisa Shelden and Dathan Rush from the Family Infant Preschool Program is open to tiny-k teams across the state. Content will include information on natural learning environment practices, coaching and primary coach approach to teaming.

Our faculty are currently engaged in exciting research in many different areas at the University of Kansas Medical Center:
- Sensory Processing in Everyday Life - on-line resources and research related to how people respond to environmental demands based on their sensory information.
- Virginia Gore Neuro-Occupation Laboratory - Research
relating neuroanatomy and the neuronal basis of functional performance,
employing the techniques of histology and stereology.
- Visual Neuroscience Laboratory - research related to brain development, neural plasticity, and visual function.
