Investigate whether calcium supplements increase the risk of cardiovascular events
Consider the difficulty in attaining optimal vitamin D status through food sources
Discuss the American Society of Bone and Mineral Research Study Panel recommendations on how to interpret supplemental calcium intake and increased risk of cardiovascular events
Theorize the mechanism by which vitamin D supplementation can be cardiovascular risk protective
Vitamin D- fortified dairy and calcium-fortified beverages will be
