Before applying to the program:

Note: our application window is closed for this year. Application deadline for next year's class is Feb. 2, 2009.

This is a 21-month certificate program designed to produce competent sonographers through educational and clinical experiences. Upon completion of this course, the graduate will be qualified to work in hospitals, clinics and doctors' offices as members of the dynamic healthcare team of the future.

The Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography program is based in the The University of Kansas Hospital but academically administered by the KU School of Allied Health on the KU Medical Center Campus.
