Academic Affairs

Welcome to the University of Kansas Medical Center, Office of Academic Affairs. The Office of Academic Affairs is headed by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Dean of Graduate Studies, who is the chief academic officer for the Medical Center.

The Office of Academic Affairs includes the oversight of graduate programs in the Schools of Health Professions, Nursing, and Medicine including the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences (IGPBS). The Office of Academic Affairs also provides oversight of the activities of the Offices of Faculty Affairs, Postdoctoral Affairs, and International Programs. Our staff are dedicated to serving the graduate students postdocs, faculty and other staff of the Medical Center in support of their academic and research pursuits.
