The University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC) web site (kumc.edu) is intended for use by prospective and current students, visitors, faculty, and staff of the university. For more information regarding patient care and consumer health information, please see the University of Kansas Hospital web site.
KUMC is not able to provide medical consultations via the Internet. It is strongly recommended that people speak directly with a medical care professional if they have questions about their or another person's health.
Management & Operation of the KUMC Web Site
Web design and management is responsible for the planning, policy, and technical implementation of the web site. The web team, managed by Karen Chinn, works closely with the communications group and the director of communications, Natalie Lutz, who manages communications and media relations for the university.
