Respiratory Care Courses on the Web

The University of Kansas Medical Center, Respiratory Care program is offering a degree-completion program for the respiratory therapist who wants to obtain a baccalaureate degree but is unable to attend a traditional college campus. Our respiratory care courses are web-based and never require you to leave your home town or city to visit our campus.

For whom is this program targeted?

  • RRT or RRT eligible with an Associate degree or equivalent and have graduated from an CoARC (JRCRT) approved respiratory therapist program.
  • The applicant's degree must be from educational institution that is regionally accredited.

Application Requirements

  • Deadline to apply
    • For Fall start, the deadline is June 30.
    • For Spring start, the deadline is December 15.
  • Completed application form
  • Application Fee $60.00 (School of Allied Health fee)
  • 3 Letters of reference
  • Proof of RRT or CRT credential
  • Submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended

  • Satisfactory completion of all preprofessional and professional courses (must achieve a C or better for passing grade)
  • Holds a current American Heart Association ACLS provider card
  • Completed a minimum of 124 hours of college credit
