Alarms

1. To set

   Minute ventilation (VE) alarms High and Low

   VE delay (up to 30 sec)

   Apnea interval (5 - 20 sec)

   White arrow in the image below indicates the +/- 30% option. Pressing the softkey below the +/- 30% automatically sets the High VE Alarm to 30% over actual VE and the Low VE Alarm to 30% below the actual VE which is displayed in the middle.



2. All other alarms are automatically set.

   High pressure alarm (10 cm H₂0 above PIP limit)

   Loss of PEEP (4 cm H₂0 below PEEP/CPAP level)

   Low inspiratory pressure (by formula - roughly 25% of peak pressure)
