At the request of our students, particularly, 2nd year student Meredith Howell, October has been proclaimed by Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius as Kansas Physical Therapy Month. The proclamation signing ceremony took place on Oct 11, 2004, in Governor's office in Topeka, Kansas.
