Neuroscience Analysis of Occupational Performance (OCTH 455)
and
Neuroscience (PTRS 850)
End-of-Term case studies
You will choose one pink slip and one green slip from a hat. Copy down the color, the number, and the term for both slips of paper and save that information. You will write out two short case studies (one for each term) which illustrate the functional significance of these structures. Write the color and number (but not the name of the structure!) and the corresponding case study onto the upper half of an 8x11 sheet of paper. Write the other color, number, and case study onto the lower half of that same sheet of paper. Make two photocopies, and bring both sheets of paper to class next week. Use the materials from this course (notes, texts, readings, packet, etc.) to create the case study - be brief, but accurate in your descriptions. Students will exchange cases studies, so someone else will try to determine which structure is involved with the case study you have created. The answers will be published after our end-of-term review session.
Here is an example to help you develop your own case studies.
