Jan 17	Common writing mistakes What is plagiarism?	Study these on-line tutorials: "What is Plagiarism" (Prentice-Hall website) Human Subjects in Research (KUMC's Research Compliance website) Note that you should complete the "Full Tutorial" version, not the "Refresher Training" version!
Jan 24	Concept maps Literature search	Due in Jeff's mailbox in the OTEd department by 4pm: Two copies of the completed KUMC Human Subjects Training Certificate One copy of the KUMC Conflict of Interest Disclosure form Note that additional copies of both forms can be obtained by selecting the "Training" tab on your myKUMC webpage.

May 04	Research Day!	Oral presentations by research groups Presentations: 12:30pm - 4:30pm Note: we’ll meet in Lied Auditorium; the room will be available for set up after 11:30 am. • submit Peer Review document via ANGEL dropbox
